We're back!


On Wednesday 1st July we welcomed you back into The Giggly Goat. 
We have redecorated, added some fresh new touches and splashes of colour! And of course given the place a thorough clean!

We are very conscious that the retail world has become a very different place over the last few months and we want to reassure you that The Giggly Goat is still a welcoming & safe space for you. 

To begin with, we will be open Tuesday – Saturday 10 – 5 to ease ourselves back into retail life in the Lanes.


We are following Government recommended Social Distancing and safety measures, including the following: 

    • A Perspex screen along the Counter by the till.
    • Hand sanitiser station at the door which is to be used by customers on entry to & exit from the shop.
    • Shop surfaces & high traffic areas will be cleaned regularly.
    • Contactless & card payments will be preferred over cash.
    • We will be operating a 2 person limit to adhere to the Social Distancing 2 metre Government regulations.
    • Staff members may be masked for their protection.  
      
We also ask that you do not enter if you or members of your household have any symptoms of Covid-19. 

We are hoping that The Giggly Goat continues to be an inviting and calming environment despite these new measures we have had to put in place. We like to think of it as offering a personal shopping experience! We will be on hand to answer questions and ensure you leave feeling calm. We are all on a steep learning curve so please do advise us of suggestions on these matters if you feel the need, as we work towards this ‘new normal’. 

We will also be launching ‘Afternoon Booking Slots’ for those of you who would prefer to have the place to yourself to browse and shop. These will be 20 minute slots and bookable between 3 – 5pm each day. This will allow you to come in as a family group and feel reassured that the space is just yours.

We understand that there will be many people who are not yet ready to return to the city; and so we will continue to offer free local delivery on purchases made by phone & email. Similarly, you will be able to purchase products and collect them from the shop at a convenient time too.
